2006 chevy silverado, any comments?

Answers:
I do love those 'disposable' GM products. They are great if you can afford to buy something, use it for a couple of years, and then 'throw it away'.

Best wishes.

nice looking truck, not as great a rep as a Ford F-150, but pretty sharp. Hope you get the faster one.
This is an outstanding vehicle. The vortec v8 engine with active fuel management not only has more power than Ford but has better gas milage than any other truck in it's class. Onstar in GM vehicles is in a class of it's own, with airbag deployment notification and GPS to help recover a stolen car and lock out protection and the list goes on and on. This goes for the GMC Yukon as well........
It's all in the way you take care of your products, no matter what the brands are...my dad has an 89 Chevy Silverado...it's still going strong. That truck has carried so many moves products in its days. He's definitely getting his money worth.
Great trucks, I assume the 2006 would be better than my 2002, and I've put that motor and tranny through hell (150 shot N20 on stock internals!) and nothings EVER broke or missed a beat. Hauled a lot of boats, ATV's, etc . and it just asks for more. Gas milage is not great on mine, but I could not have hoped for a better truck!
