Question:
I am trying to decide between a 1999 Trans Am and a 2000 Trans Am. I know for sure that I want the standard transmission and V8 5.7 Liter engine but are not sure which is the better buy going off of what I want . Is there a difference between the 99' transmission and the 00'?

TA's from 98 and up are essentially the same,they friggin scream right out of the box.My 2000 6spd ragtop is much quicker than the 96 (w/basic mods) I had was.

They are the same car. I would get one with as low mileage as you can afford. I own a 2000 WS6 model and I love it! I am tempted to buy another one and put it into storage for when this one bites the dust ...
