Cost is a matter of opinion. Assuming you want to replace the radio, factory speakers, and add an amplifier and subwoofer, you can expect to spend the following (keep in mind you could spend more or less depending on your sources to buy)...

Radio - $100 - $400
Front Speakers - $30 - $150
Rear Speakers - $30 - $150
Subwoofer Amplifier - $200 - $500
2 Subwoofers - $140 - $500

Keep in mind, there will be incidental expenses, such as wiring, subwoofer enclosure, installation labor, etc. Unless you have experience in car audio installation and know what you're doing, I would recommend getting it professionally installed.
