Adjustable Port... Is it possible?

Question:
I'm in an.. experimentave phase, and I'm wondering, would it be possible/feasable, to create an actuated port. It is common knowledge, that for rock music, you want a sealed box, and for rap/r&b/hip-hop, you want ported, but you are forced to choose a box, whether or not you prefer one style of music over another, so I was thinking of a simple, servo driven system, that at the push of a button, would close up ports with a dynamate "plug". It sounds kinda silly, but would it work. Would the volume of the ported box be too big to act as an effective sealed box? Would there be any major pit-falls?

Answers:
Ported boxes are generally MUCH larger than a sealed box. So you will run into sizing issues. Check it out with winisd, and see how much a difference it will make with your particular driver.

Other Answers:
The only way that could work is to be able to change the box internal volume as well and still maintain to be "air-tight".

Box sizes change with box types. - ie. sealed, ported, etc.

Tuning frequency would also be an issue.

In other words - impossible. Sounds like a very feasable idea. Surprisingly not already offered on the Market. Hmmmmmm..........................
