My Cd plyer in my car says that i have a 6 disc cd changer. I cannot find it. There is a box in my trunk that is bolted to the side but it is enclosed in a metal box. Is that it or is it an amp of some sort?

That box is your six disc changer. It'll have a sliding door on the top of it, and under the door there will be a cartdridge you can eject. that's where the discs go.

that is deffinatly not your changer.. your changer would be in the rear left corner .. if it was there.. most times . the deck is capable of having changer but it's not there.. the changer would be under a removable piece of the trunk carpeting.. like the bmw.
