Question:
I am looking to get a system for my car. it is a 2004 nissan pathfinder and was leaning towards buying a Sony 2-Channel Xplod Amplifier, MTX Dual 12 Subwoofer Enclosure, Sony 12 Xplod Subwoofer from circuit city. the link for this item at circuit city is

is this a good system? You cant beat the price. Which is better this or a jl 10 w6 with a 500 watt amp?
Answers:
I have that amp and it rocks. I went with two Blaupunkt TSw1200 12's and 4th order Bandpass Bass box I designed.
This amp is CEA-2006 Compliant as well which means it produces the watts is says it does.
It's 200 Watts RMS X 2 @ 4 ohms
or 250 Watts RMS X 2 @ 2 ohms
or 500 Watts RMS X 1 @ 4 ohms
You just can't beat a home built box. Most of the time better than a store bought one.
