Accidentally broke the wire on my Sirius satellite radio. Best fix?

Question:
It's broken very close to the connector to the radio, so I'm guessing it would be hard to splice it together again. Sirius antennas are like 40 bucks - is it worth trying to save the money?

Answers:
The wires for these are not to expensive. Best to buy another one, if you solder or (UGGG) black tape it, you could mess up the inside of the wiring and cause a short, this will sometimes go into your radio, you could mess the whole system up, or cause a fire, best to just pay the little extra and spring for the new wire.

Other Answers:
try soldering the wire diretly to the connector...
Get the replacement!
