My JVC KD-AR560 loses memory when I shut the car off. How do I fix this?

Question:

Answers:
sounds like you have the radio wire hooked into the ignition as it should be but there should be another hot wire that goes to the constant hot (positive +) of the battery

Other Answers:
It sounds like you don't have the wire connected that supplies power all of the time. I am not 100% sure, but I think that wire is either red or yellow. If that is attached, the memory should always be there.

i have hooked up several cd players
one of the wires that come out of the back of the radio must be hot all the time if you look at the rear or top of the radio there might be a wiring diagram it is usually the yellow wire the red is allways hot only when key is on the black is ground blue is probly power antena then speakers one wire must be hot at all times dont worry it will not kill the battery

my brain
there is a yellow wire, that is a constant hot... This has to be hooked to something in the car that has power all the time..
