Question:
I have a 1997 BMW 318i convertible that I installed a new battery in this winter. After the install, the radio/cd/cassette player asks for "CODE _____". I entered 123456 and now it says "CODE WAIT". All other electrical indicators seem to be working, like the temp, date and time. What do I need to do? I am not the original owner, so if there was an earlier code for the radio, I do not know it.

the code should be in with tha manuel it has a pin number this happen to my car when i changed tha battery and the code was in tha package with tha manuel..hope u got that if not i dont know bro. hope this helps
