How do I install a radio from a GM car into a 1991 Nissan?

Question:

Answers:
bullybrain is correct about it being a pain. However if you are determined and have figured out how to mount it in the dash you will need the following. The original plugs that plug into the back of the delco radio with a few inches of the wiring still intact. Go to your local gm dealer and politely ask the service manager if he could make you a copy of the radio wiring for the vehicle the radio was removed from, then go to the nissan dealer and politely ask the service mgr. for a schematic for the nissan. Then mate the wiring from the nissan to match the radio. Simple as that.

Other Answers:
If its an aftermarket cd player.. then you go to best buy and buy an install kit for the 91 nissan and also the wiring harness for the nissan that you splice up to the plug that goes into the radio...

You don't, it is possible but its a lot more trouble than its worth for a stock radio. Check local pawnshops and see if you can't get deal on a decent name brand set up. Then the most impt thing is to make sure your ground conection is good and solid. http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/businessplanner/
