directionals and running lights on same bulb

Check wiring. Make sure the the directional wiring is connected properly and then make sure that you have the proper light bulb in place. The light bulb should be able to serve both purposes. Some don't, so that is why you need to check. Also you may want to check for frayed wires or debris that may be causing the problem.

djr, are you referring to the orange front directionals located on your handle bars? If they are the only lights inoperative, replace the bulbs. They are dual filament 1157 bulbs...1/2 burnt out.
