1994 honda cbr 600 battery does'nt charge how to r&r alt or gen?

Question:

Answers:
Before you start changing parts, figure out which one isn't working. Three most common problems are
1) Bad battery - $70 - won't take a charge or won't hold a charge.
2) Regulator/rectifier - $160
3) Stator - $380 + gasket and oil
Do you want to start changing parts just to find something as simple as a loose battery terminal. If you know how to use a volt/ohlm meter, get a shop manual and check those components out.
The stator (alternator) is inside the left engine cover (L crankcase cover). Don't forget to drain the oil.

Other Answers:
How old is the battery? Does the bike run if you get it started? Make sure it'll hold a charge first. Make sure you dont have a wire grounded somewhere that would cause the battery not to get juice
