Question:
can i take the baffles out of the 4 exhaust pipes on my magna with out having any problems and if so do i just drill them out or what
Answers:
Well it will get loud as hell for one thing, which is probably what you want. I wouldn't advise it! For on thing it will get loud to the point you WILL get tickets for it. second it will affect your back pressure which could affect your carberation and power. You dont have a harley! Its a Honda... if you want to make it better buy some aftermarket pipes and have a jet kit put in the carbs. That would be way cooler and wont devalue your ride.
Other Answers:
It will make your pipes louder, and that about it. It might have a slight effect on the jetting, as you are now allowing the engine to exhaust more easily, thus it may tend to burn a little lean after removing the baffles...
Just drill em out! AS long as youre not planning on putting them back in... You might be better served buying an aftermarket system, that way you can always switch back to your stock pipes...
A) The bike will be louder, and people who like you now will not like you.
B) The bike will run poorly, lose power, and be slower. Honda tunes their exhaust and intake systems very carefully. So to make it work, you'd have to change jetting and airfilter.
All in all, a bad idea.
Like a couple other answers, it isn't a good idea unless you get after-market pipes and rejet it. Pulling the baffles out will only make it LOUD and you'll lose power and it'll run alot leaner, maybe to the point of burning a piston.
