My son a motorcycle FREAK!
My opinion: Road King Classic. simply because you can ride for hours or miles an get off without feeling like you been beaten on. they ride like a Cadillac.Handle very nice. you can pop the windshield off for around town cruising ,if you like chewing on bugs. an have a retro look to them already. the screaming eagles are nice, If you have the Long Dollar.
as for the best model the Harley Douglide was a nice bike.
Not really a Hardley Ableson fan,but the 1977ish XLCR was nice. Most of the others arent rally much good for British roads ,and most of the ones when AMF owned it were frankly crap
My Favorite is the one I am riding...lol. There are Harley's for all types of riding, bopping around town, I like the ride of a Softail Standard. Throw a set of pipes on and a powercommander on and you have a great sounding and riding machine, plus the chicks just dig'em. For long rides and touring 2 up, I prefer my Road King. The Road King as well as any of the touring models are build for pure comfort. Like I said it depends on the riding I am doing depends on the bike I prefer...
Currently I own a 1948 Panhead. Probably my favorite bkie of all time. Also a 2001 Sportster 1200C....Both very cool bikes
my heritage softail classic on both. the seat is comfortable. it sits low for a female driver. you don't eat so many bugs if you leave the windshield on.
