generally you can run on unleaded without any additives. the value of additives is questionable. when you do your next top end (valve job) it might be wise to have hardened inserts put in the seats-though that raises the price of the rebuild. i say keep your tappets adjusted, good spark plugs, a good tune up and don't worry too much about it.
