1973 Harley - antique/classic...

Question:
1973 Harley - antique/classic?

When did it become an antique/classic?

How old must be a Harley-Davidson be before it is considered an antique/classic?

How does value increase once it becomes an antique/classic?

Answers:
The fact that it's old doesn't automatically mean it's valuable. Appearance and overall condition have more to do with the value of a bike, no matter what year it was built. If it's in good, running condition, it may be worth something to a collector... The better the condition, the more it's worth; but a rusty junker with bad paint and missing parts is just a pile of scrap metal.

Other Answers:
I wouldn't call it an antique, but it's definately a classic.
A Harley becomes a classic the instant it leaves the production line.
20 years old it becomes a classic.
value depends on type, contition, # made.
