They are all death traps . the question should be - if you had a son would you want him to own or ride one? I believe dirt bikes are the way to go so no one will hurt you but you. I don't...an accident when I was about ten years old as a passenger swore me off of the things forever.

I guess a Honda. Hey, are you a model or something? You should be! Your avatar is really pretty!
As the driver; not side-saddle, nor as a passenger.

kawasaki
honda
BMW
etc.
I'm still here
That is cool that you ride. I only started at about 12 years old and I was a city boy so I had to push my bike to a location that I could ride (about 1 mile). I had three different CBRs in the past 5 years and I now have a Yamaha Maxim X. Harley rider, no helmet, warm days, mountain roads, ralleys, pretty women, cold beer...
Suzuki 1500 Intruder LC (now called Boulevard 90). I like to ride the lesser traveled roads, either by myself or with one or two other bikes. I enjoy going down a country road where the trees have formed a shady tunnel of leaves to ride through. I also like riding on a warm summer night and feeling the changes in air temperature as I go through valleys and over hills. I like riding and waving at a couple of little kids as they run along the road, shouting and waving back. But what I really enjoy is looking out the corner of my eye as I go by the guy that is looking at me, with envy, as he is mowing his lawn in the hot sun.
As far as type, we like sports bikes personally. His old Suzuki has about had it though and we are looking for a Suzuki Bandit or a specific Kawasaki.
Just thought I may add a cute saying by a 4 year old. Her uncle taught her to say "Kawasaki rules, Suzuki's drool". She happened to yell it at some older man on a huge Harley, meaning it as an insult as much as a 4 year old knowing nothing about bikes can. He laughed and told her "you have it all wrong, they both drool"

I like to ride my Harley about 55 on long stretches of highway with the sun at my back and my heels on the pegs.
Street is cool but dirt still rules.
My racing days are over, for dirt bikes anyway, now would love to get ahold of some vintage machines like a Montesa, or Bultaco, or a classic Suzuki TM 400, the one DeCoster rode to the world motocross championships.
mmmmmm, Motocross
