i was browsing one day and found a web site that stated 2004 had serious front brake rotor problems from the factory and toyota was not owning up to the problem.i can't find the site now. i believe this may be my brake problem

NO take it back and complain loudly. Toyota cannot afford to have any more embarrasing negative press. If the nearest dealer does not correct it, go to another. That's what waranty's are for.
