am trying to decide the rear axle ratio on my 71 torino 500. on the data plate on door jamb it says 6. if im doing it right im decoding a 3.91-1 ratio.am i correct? also is this a 28 or 31 spline? are 31 spline axles only for traction lok? it is a 9 inch! please help

Also, there is a Formula for turning the Driveshaft over 1 Revolution, with the Transmission in Neutral, and counting the Revolutions of the Tire, with the car Jacked Up off the Ground, or turning the Tire over 1 full revolution, and counting the Turns of the Driveshaft.
