I say yes!! The moment you turn the key the car is using so much oxygen (a small car on a 11 hr.trip uses the oxygen one person needs for a whole year)!! And pollution-- they're champs! The change in weather systems. Look at the increase in the number of hurricanes!Approx.people killed last yr. 551,000; the car is champion; it has surpassed wars by a very great number. If I were a young man and know what I know now,I certainly would never own a car. I'm 80 now and have purchased 28 cars in my lifetime; I didn't drive all of them;some were for other members of my family. My wife had her own and my children needed cars to go back and forth in college! I have spent more in my lifetime on cars than any other commodity.(approximately $755,000) Initial cost,on-going maintenace like repairs, oil changes, grease jobs, gasoline and insurance. The expenses of a car can "eat you alive" I think you get my point; buy a good bicyle! No polution, not expensive, and watch your bank account grow!!

theres truth in your statement but if we didnt have the ability to travel or transport goods in a timely fashion we wouldn't have the life we live now. as for them being so deadly i disagree wholeheartedly because we operate the vehicle so its our responsability to give that operation 100% of our attention. as for pollution the manufactures only make what the consumer will buy.
